Subak announces Helen Milner OBE as new Chair

Global climate tech accelerator, data community and regranter Subak is pleased to announce the appointment of Helen Milner OBE as the new Chair.

Helen took up the position on 15th January 2023, bringing her wealth of digital expertise to the not-for-profit regranter, data community and accelerator.

Helen has over 30 years of experience working in online education and in 2015 received an OBE for her work in digital inclusion. She is the founder and Group Chief Executive of international charity Good Things Foundation, which works to make the benefits of digital technology more accessible to all.

In 2012 she was inducted into the British Interactive Media Association (BIMA) Digital Hall of Fame as one of the top 20 Britons who have made the greatest contributions to the UK’s digital sector. Helen was also recently named one of Computer Weekly’s ‘Most Influential Women in UK Tech’, and in 2021 was awarded ‘Internet Hero of the Year’ by the Internet Service Providers Association (ISPA).
